Burning Calories by Accident

If you’re one of those people who wants to burn a few extra calories here and there as a goal to living a healthy lifestyle, it may be easier than you think. Most people want the result of working out without actually having to exercise much, and if you can appreciate that sentiment at all, then a few small adjustments to your daily choices might make all the difference in the world.
Instead of going to a movie on the weekend, try going to a club, and while you’re there, don’t be the wallflower, get out there and shake it. Dancing is a great cardio workout if you’re willing to risk the embarrassment and possible injury of going full board. If this sort of recommendation piques your interest, then you might up the ante a bit and try salsa dancing. This sensual and seductive dance will not only make some hearts swoon but it’ll get your own heart racing with a specific emphasis on your core, hips, and thighs. Maybe you have a date. Maybe you want to impress. Go dancing instead of the movie. It’s more fun to make fun of yourself anyway.
Walk the adjacent neighborhoods on the weekend and look for garage sales. Where I’m from there are tons of yard and garage sales every Saturday morning, and if that’s true for you as well, then get out and walk from sale to sale to see if their trash is your treasure. The walking of course will burn hundreds of extra calories when you’re not thinking about burning calories, and who knows, maybe you’ll find something awesome for your front room while you’re out.
While we’re talking about walking, maybe you should consider walking to the gym. I always find it really interesting that people will circle the parking lot at the gym for 15 minutes looking for the closest spot possible instead of walking a little further to start their workout. Seems like their priorities are a little mixed up. Regardless though, if you live within a reasonable distance, maybe you could walk to the gym. It’ll give you a good warm up, and you’re going anyway so it’s probably not a bad idea to burn a few calories on your way to burn more.
Of course nutrition is a big part of burning extra calories as well. If you don’t want to change your lifestyle entirely to be healthy, try a multivitamin. A multivitamin will provide you with up to a couple dozen essential vitamins and minerals, and taking one in the morning is simple. You might try some good chocolate as well. Most people don’t know that the right kind of chocolate, the good chocolate, can affect you in a variety of important ways. If you love chocolate, keep eating, just choose the good chocolate instead. The benefits of green tea are pretty well known these days, but it still isn’t as mainstream as you might think. Green tea has antioxidants and other attributes that benefit an individual in a number of ways. Add a cup to your diet and ride the wave to improved health.
Burning calories doesn’t have to happen in the gym. Do it on the weekend at the club or in your neighborhood, do it on your way to the gym, and feel the results. Pop a multivitamin, watch your diet as your replace good chocolate for bad, and add green tea to your daily intake. Burning calories naturally is the best.
